Understanding “How to Coupon” & BEAT the system to get free or cheap products plus make money! That is the real deal and we are here to help you understand just how to achieve this goal.

Combining Coupons with Store Deals – You use your manufacturer coupon and a store coupon together when the store has an item on sale.

Example A: How to get the product for FREE + you make $2.01

Store:  Publix

Sale Date:  2/28-3/6

Product:  BIC Disposable Razors ($5.99)

Store Sale:  Publix is offering $2 off When you Buy 1

Store Coupon:  Use 1 – $2.00 off of 1 – Purple Flyer found at Publix Store

Final Price:  FREE + $2.01 Overage (you just got paid to take home a free product)

Did you get that? I know, shocking right? Let’s do the math one more time

The Razor cost: $5.99

Store Sale: -$2.00 ($3.99)

MQ: -$4.00 ($0.01)

Publix Q: -$2.00 ($2.01)

Final Price +$2.01

You just got a FREE product plus you made $2.01 and that is how you maximize the use of your coupons!

Price Match – You can price match a product that you are using a coupon on if your store accepts “price matching” the store will match a competitor’s price if it’s lower. Every store has a different policy.

Example B: Walgreens has a one-day sale on toothbrushes for $1.99 and you have a manufacturer coupon for $4.00 off of 2. You are on your lunch break and the closest Walgreens is 10 minutes away but Walmart is in the same plaza, what do you do? You go to Walmart and tell them you want to price match the toothbrushes then you give them your manufacturer coupon.

Toothbrush cost: $2.99×2 ($5.98)

Price Match: -$2.00 ($3.98)

MQ: -$4.00/2 ($0.02)

Final Price +$0.02

You just got two FREE products plus you made $0.02 by price matching and using a manufacturer coupon. Awesome right?

Clearance/Reduced Price/Markdown items – You find a product that is on clearance and use a coupon to get an amazing deal!

Example C: CVS has Tresemme shampoo and conditioner on clearance for 75% off. You have a store coupon plus manufacturer coupons for that product. You buy 6 products and use 1 store coupon & 2 manufacturer coupons.

Shampoo cost:    $6.99×6 ($41.94)

Clearance price: -$5.24×6 (-$31.44) ($10.50)

Store Coupon:  -$3.00/$10.00 ($7.50)

MQ: Use 2  -$5.00/3 ($2.50)

You just got 6 FREE products plus you made $2.50 by combining a clearance item with a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon.
